I’m Angelina, a mother of five kids, a wife to a wonderful husband, a teacher to one child at home, and a part-time teacher outside the home. About 15 years ago, we started keeping chickens and the flock keeps growing. On any given day, there are four to six vehicles parked in our driveway. Teens eat us out of house and home. This blog provides a place to share and reflect on this wonderful, quirky life God has us living.
This enclosure is a conservatory of stories about family life with five big kids, faith life in the Orthodox Church and flock life with our urban chickens.
I took up photography a few years ago and enjoy sharing our adventures through images along with story snippets, poetry, flash fiction and other random musings. Life is one big journey and I am thankful to share ours with you.

I really like that you are homeschooling. Parents need to take their children out of the public school system, and raise them up in the way they should go.
