Slice of Life Day 13 on Remembering Why I Started Homeschooling

When you’re in the trenches, its hard to think with the end in mind. As a home school mom, you’re dealing in curriculum choices, sibling squabbles, bad attitudes and much more. Sometimes you’re dealing with that little thought in the back of your head: “Am I doing the right thing?”

I want to encourage you to keep plugging along. Keep enjoying time with your kids. These days are worth the efforts, the exhaustion and the struggles. Trust that it will all come together in the end. God made kids pretty resilient and its hard to mess them up. At least, if you’ve educated them well, they’ll be able to pay for their own therapy. 🙂

On this page, I will be sharing tips and ideas that I’ve gathered over my 18 years of homeschooling. Sure, I’ve made mistakes. But, I’ve also learned a lot from the things that have gone well and from the things that haven’t gone well. I’ll be passing what I can along to you here.
