On other domestic fronts…
Jodette was such a good banty today at her back-to-coop photos. After a bit of clucking and fusing, the hen settled right down for an award winning pose. Upon informing her that the photo was a success, she pecked out a waiver so that we could include it here and on the cover of the yearbook. She was somewhat stoic about all the fanfare, but nonetheless, a willing participant.
After the shoot, Jodette enjoyed a celebratory lunch of cooked rice and apple skins in the laundry sink. After which, she was eager to return to her barnyard friends to finish out another day in the run. This photographer knew not to fowl around with that, especially after a hearty meal. All in all, the back-to-coop photos were a biddy success.
